Unplug, Recharge: A Mini Retreat

DESCRIPTION

The weather has grown colder, the days have grown shorter, and the stress of the national news continues to weigh on our collective conscience. You may have noticed yourself wanting to cuddle up, watch Netflix, and withdraw. Instead of isolating and numbing, I invite you to share in a sacred time of unplugging and recharging. The day will be focused on stillness, reflection and community.

At this mini-retreat, we will have both guided and silent meditation time, a discussion on using mindfulness to recharge, and relational mindfulness practices centered on cultivating lovingkindness and gratitude. There will be time for journaling and reflection throughout the event, as well as hands-on energy work.

Unplug your worries and your devices; bring only yourself, a snack, a journal and water in a sealed container. Walk away from this mini-retreat with new friends, new practices, and new (proverbial) batteries.
