DESCRIPTION

It’s already July.  Whether you have been doing a great job of self-care this summer or are still thinking about how to better take care of yourself, this mini-retreat is for you.  Join us for a morning of meditation to renew and re-energize yourself.  2-for-1 pricing means that you can bring a friend who might need a little TLC.

NOTE

Meditation cushions and chairs provided.

Andra Brill is a mindfulness instructor and an innovator in the field of mindful parenting. She is senior faculty at PassageWorks Institute where she helped develop the Trainer of Trainers Workshop for the SMART in Education mindfulness course and the Transformational Leadership Course.  She spends her days in elementary schools as a professional developer with the Children’s Literacy Initiative.

Formerly a professor at UCD and DU, Andra helped to create the Boettcher Teachers Residency.  She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Innovation from the University of Colorado at Denver. Her research interests include culturally responsive pedagogy, theories of change, and how to create more compassionate, reflective classrooms and families.
