In a lucid dream you are aware that you are dreaming. The same is true in life.
To be aware is to not be consumed by the events around you. “Thinking” in this clear state means not getting lost in thoughts. Instead, there is awareness that thinking is happening. You are lucid.
When we are not aware, consciousness easily gets carried away by passing phenomena: the senses, images in the mind, emotions, and objects in the world. All of these things draw us in like a magnet.
Join us for these weekly classes where we explore what consciousness is, and what it is not. Greater freedom and stability of mind come with lucid awareness!
