Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy helps you connect with your body, exploring what it has to say, using movement, breath, touch, and dialogue.
Listening deeply, you will befriend your body, hear its innate wisdom, and receive guidance for navigating your life’s challenges. By the end of the session, you will have specific, realistic action steps for making positive changes in your life.
People of all backgrounds, genders, orientations, body types, and levels of physical activity are warmly welcomed.
No experience with yoga or fitness is necessary. Just bring your body and an open mind!

Polina Rikoun, Ph.D., came to wellness from higher education. She earned her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Harvard University, and engaged in college-level teaching, advising, and program administration for over sixteen years. Working closely with her students, she became fascinated with the complex interplay of the human mind, body, and energy flow.
She embarked on her new career in integrative wellness by training with the Amrit Yoga Institute, Wellheart School of Yoga, Usui Reiki Lineage, and Dharma Ocean Foundation. She is now getting ready to complete her 600-hour certification with Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy.
