Special Retreat: Dying Strong – A Writing & Mindfulness Retreat

Saturday, November 3rd, 9:00am – 4:30pm

Give yourself the gift of a one-day retreat dedicated to making peace with your inevitable death.  This workshop will help you guide someone, or yourself, through the process of making friends with death, so that you can die with your chin up, heart brave, and have all your stuff together (or help someone to do the same) But don’t worry, it’s not only about death – it’s also about how to “use death as your advisor” for living a good and happy life.

This will be a safe, warm space full of introspection, restorative/meditative yoga practices, and writing. By the end of the workshop, we hope you’ll know….

~what you want done with your body

~what sort of ceremony would best honor your life

~what words, sounds, tastes, and smells you’d like near you at your death

~what your death mantra will be

~Practical things, such as Advance Directives

~and most of all, what a good death looks like for you.
