Based on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, 196 aphorisms, or threads of spiritual wisdom, Raja Yoga invites a dynamic conversation between spiritual practitioners that results in clarity, harmony and freedom. When we recognize that we have the capacity to direct our thoughts and actions in service to the life we want to live, we experience a joy that is unshakable by events. Beth Hinnen has received over 1,000 hours of teacher training in Hatha Yoga (beginning, intermediate and advanced), Prenatal and Restorative Yoga, Structural Yoga Therapy and Raja Yoga. She has studied for 10 years at a Soto Zen Monastery, and is enrolled in a 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. A Colorado native, she enjoys the outdoors in all seasons and while a dog-lover, she is currently guardian to a Bengal cat, named Leela, who survived a rattlesnake bite.
