About Cliff

I read the book, Zen Mind, Beginners Mind while in college , and it set me on the track of meditating and studying Soto Zen ever since.    In the 1980’s,  I practiced Zen in Minneapolis with Katagiri Roshi, a Japanese Zen Teacher.

I  was  later ordained as a Buddhist Priest, and in 2010 was conferred as a Zen Teacher, registered with the Soto Zen Buddhist Association.  (see www.szba.org  for more information on Soto Zen)   I founded and lead Prairie Mountain Zen Center in northern Colorado; and I founded and direct the Meditation Place in Longmont, Colorado.
